Child Safety Tips for Busy Events |
||
|
With lots of fantastic community events taking place over the summer, it's always worth planning ahead in case little ones become separated from their parents or carers.
🎈 At a recent community event, PCSO's helped reunite several children with their parents after they had become separated in the crowds. Thankfully everyone was quickly reunited, but having contact details available can make a stressful situation much easier to resolve.
✅ A simple tip is to write your mobile phone number on your child's event wristband (or on a piece of paper placed securely in a pocket if no wristband is provided). If a child gets lost in a busy crowd, having a contact number readily available can help event staff, security or emergency services reunite them with their family much more quickly.
Other useful tips include: • Agreeing a meeting point before entering the event. A little preparation can make a big difference and help everyone enjoy a safe and fun day out. 😊 | ||
